    The Riviera Dourada is the result of the vision of the teacher and entrepreneur Paul Paula, co-owner of SPEL. For 20 years the group responsible for the Mar Vista Pitangui-Jacumã by Fundep (Fundação para o Desenvolvimento Sustentável da Terra Potiguar) has been investing in the region, developing the educational level of the local community.

    Founder and Chancellor of the Potiguar University (UNP), Natal / RN, founded in 1979, today with 35,000 students, the largest private University in the Northeast of Brazil, currently working in partnership with Laureate International Group;

    Founder of the Guararapes College in Recife / Pernambuco, now 6 000 students, now also in partnership with Laureate Group;

    Founder of UNIPB, private University in João Pessoa / Paraíba, now with 4,000 students, now also in partnership with Laureate Group;

    Single controller SpeI and Tigre, owners of the areas of Mar Vista Pitangui-Jacumã;

    Founder and Maintainer of Fundep (Fundação para o Desenvolvimento Sustentável da Terra Potiguar), foundation with performance in formal education, environmental programs, research and studies, cultural exchange among others. It maintains the School of the Dunes

    Owner of SIM TV, an open TV station, with local programming as well as the National Network TV programming.

    Sustainable Development: The region receives more than 20 years, investments in education.

    For 20 years the group responsible for the Mar Vista Pitangui-Jacumã by Fundep (Fundação para o Desenvolvimento Sustentável da Terra Potiguar) has been investing in the region, developing the educational level of the local community and preparing the space to have a sustainable economy, respecting and preserving the environment, supporting and preparing the natives for the great development that is coming ahead.

    • School of the Dunes, established in 1991, it has already enabled the training of over 4,000 native youth in high school. Over 500 students have become full Fellows of UnP, Potiguar University, and graduated in the courses of your choice.
    • Centre for Environmental Education for Sustainable Development, School of the Dunes, Pitangui, with 22 years of experience in regional, national and international educational services, has served more than 80,000 people in the Environmental Education course, being the representative of the Brazilian Government to Eco'92, in Rio de Janeiro.
    • Training courses, qualifications and training were given to communities in more than 700 people.
